2、Testing Equipment: Use a melt flow index tester, which includes a constant-temperature melting chamber and a standardized mold.

3、Testing Procedure: Load a specified amount of the sample into the melting chamber and melt it by heating. The sample is then extruded from the bottom of the mold under a specified pressure.

4、Data Recording: The testing equipment records the volume of the extruded molten material, usually measured in grams per 10 minutes (g/10min).

This test method provides information about the melt flowability of plastic pellets, which is crucial for quality control in plastic processing and the production of final products. It's important to note that different types of plastics require testing at different temperatures and pressures to ensure accurate melt flow index data.
